Double picture frame commissioned by a friend in February 2010. The project was devised and drawn by me to make a sentimental gift from a grandfather to his granddaughter. It should be a kind of double picture frame that would have to house two old fashioned elliptical face portraits (black & white) and two samples of hair curls, cut off from them at the same age (about 5). It was handmade with glued strips of Rio-Rosewood (Dalbergia nigra) scraps. The finishing was done with a personally prepared wax.
